Lucretia Mott was developed on January 3, 1793 in Nantucket, Massachusetts. She was born to Ana Folger and Thomas Coffin. Her parents had eight kids. When Mott was thirteen she was sent to a Quaker Boarding school in Dutchess County, NY. Following she graduated she started to be a instructor there. When Mott found that males were paid 3 x more than females she started to be very enthusiastic about woman's rights. Mott was antislavery, and because she assumed that the girl refused to work with any captivity produced items. (Wikipedia, 2013) With her husband's support and help. She became a Quaker minister and journeyed giving sermons emphasizing the Quaker back to the inside light or perhaps the divine inside every individual. In 1833 Mott and her husband likewise founded the American Anti-Slavery Association. They created six children but one among their children perished at the young age of couple of years old.
